The experience of sitting on diets is such that I will hardly resort to this means of torture. If not for a "but": I personally saw the results of two weeks of going on a "Japanese" diet. As in the magazine: "before" and "after". However, the principle of beauty and health works, perhaps, the best.

Why the diet is called Japanese is hard to say - half of the recommended foods are exotic for the Japanese. According to legend, the diet was developed by experts from the Japanese clinic "Yaeks", but no other traces of this office were found on the English-language Internet.

Lyrically emotional deviation

I must say that I admire the courage of people who are able to feel the weight loss recipe found on the internet and try it right away. I myself am wary of diets. Life has brought me with them twice.

For the first time - in a serious form, when in the mountains I caught some kind of stomach infection and for three weeks at an altitude of 3000 meters, I just could not eat: everything immediately asked to return. The second time was when I decided to limit my diet to 1000 calories a day. For almost a month, my diet consisted of morning coffee with ice cream, which is convenient for lunch and frozen vegetables for dinner. I learned that the diet should be balanced much later.

So the first question I asked was: How balanced is the Japanese diet? "More or less, but there are not enough amino acids, " replied a friend of the biochemist, "you will be awful - terror with a gun. "His fears of my hypothetical increased wickedness did not materialize. For the first two days, the body was oppressed by the sudden disappearance of normal food from its life. And realizing that this was for a long time, but not forever, he became quiet and indifferent.

Charm and frustration

As with any experiment on myself, I have amassed a list of charms and frustrations. Or rather, the discomfort and enjoyment of the diet.

Upset # 1

The diet is strict. Because, according to its authors, it is designed to change metabolism. Therefore, the slightest deviation from the course (even a crouton, even an apple) - and the expected result is not guaranteed. And this is what is expected: separation with 5 - 8 kg and weight stabilization in the future.

Upset # 2

It is very difficult for me to come to a business meal and ask for love, two hard-boiled eggs and 200 grams of grated carrots. Usually such requests remain unfulfilled. Therefore, you should have all the supplies with you in your wallet. And, most likely, prepare diet meals the day before.

Pleasant number 1

13 days for the Japanese diet will cost you about 2 times less than daily business meals or lunch at work. And even more so - buying food for the home.

Pleasant number 2

In general, it is better not to start a strict diet if at least half of the food it consists of is unpleasant for you. And since I eat with great enthusiasm in "normal life" and fish, and boiled beef, carrots, kefir and cabbage, to see at my table was, frankly, happy.

Many people ask questions about drinking coffee every morning - is it not harmful? If you have heart problems or high blood pressure, then coffee can have adverse effects. And before starting a Japanese diet, it is worth consulting your doctor.

A full range of senses

In the first two days of the diet, a vision haunts me: as soon as I closed my eyes, a thin baked pancake appeared in front of my inner gaze, flowing spontaneously into a tube. Then someone politely put it in strawberry jam and brought it to my face. There were no olfactory hallucinations. After chasing me for two days, the crepe fell back.

A stony indifference and calm attitude towards gastronomic pleasures, which lasts until today. This does not mean that I will strongly refuse if I am offered to try something delicious. But the nervous tremors from the fact that "there is so much food there" are no longer observed.

I did not throw so much - only 4 kg, but the weight does not return. I do not know who to thank for this: the developers of the Japanese diet or I - for sports twice a week. The only detail: during the diet, you weaken significantly and towards the end it becomes problematic to open a closed bottle of mineral water. But then the power is quickly restored.
